Our Cows

From field to fork, we have been raising our own cattle here in Darsham since 2003. 

Our cattle graze on the meadows by the river, in the spring and in the winter they feed on maize and barley grown here on the farm. They are traditional British beef breeds - Suffolk Red Poll, Belted Galloway, Aberdeen Angus, Shorthorn and Herefords - living the best of lives. The result, we are confident, is meat that tastes truly amazing.

We ensure the produce on our butcher's counter is clearly labelled and encourage you to compare the flavour of different breeds. After all meat this good deserves to be savoured.
